Reminder about the points retainer system with an emphasis on how to best present it to an existing client whose current retainer is based on X number of hours/X $$ per month. For background, about a third of those hours are reoccurring work (e.g., blogging for different brands, trade media relations, etc.). The client relies on me to determine how to best spend the remaining hours and typically doesn’t dictate how the hours are spent (i.e., they essentially don’t pick from a list of services). How then would that approach work when converting over to the points system?
